I don’t say this as much as I want to, but I want to say you are awesome.

It may not mean much coming from someone you have never met before, some of you even reading my words for the first time, however, I mean it.

You are an awesome individual.

You Are Awesome

The Act Of A Compliment

The act of a compliment from someone else is emboldening. It prompts us to do good and to live up to that expectation in some sense.

It reminds me of those posts that remind us that something amazing will happen to us. No, I’m not talking about those dumb chain letters but just a simple post.

“Something great will happen to you.”

A simple statement that can prompt us into action.

Sure our concepts of great are different. Some of us are hopeful that we’ll land that client or make significant progress in our goals. But even the little steps can make for a great day and a greater day in the future.

It goes to show that even a compliment from someone else can make a difference in a persons life. But at the same time…

Avoid Flattery

Avoid flattery at all costs. Make your compliments come from the heart and be honest with them. The path to growth is certainly growing yourself but also learning of who you are as well. It’s learning to be genuine and true to yourself and your values.

For me, my goal is to help others. It’s why I write and encourage others. It’s all the more reason to give compliments and remind others that they are awesome.

Because it’s so true.

To your growth!

I’m really into Mindfulness and how it has helped me to live in the NOW.
