In order to make big steps, it’s important to have a plan in place. This week has been the first time I’ve properly implemented a proper health plan for myself.
True I’ve put together before what sort of body I want to achieve and generally what I have to do to get it, but I haven’t ironed out all of the finite details of the plan. Not to mention how these things will ultimately affect my life and health.
In today’s post, I’d like to mention a few of those additions and how they play into a proper health plan for myself.
Health Centred Goals
I’ve created a detailed plan of certain things I want in something I call “My Direction”. In there it’s an outline of what I’d like to achieve currently in my life. In other words, I outline who I’d like to be from where I’m currently at.
Although at this stage you could say I have already specific goals since I am outlining them in “My Direction,” however it’s important to note that the document is broad for a reason. The “My Direction” document is meant to add clarity in general rather than on specific things.
True I have outlined some things in it like exercises but I neglect how long I am to exercise along with what sort of pressing issues I have currently I need to overcome. It’s for this reason why I’ve set aside some health-centered goals to help in solidifying a proper health plan.
The other addition that I’ve made in making this plan concrete is to continue to be asking myself what I desire. Of course my actions I’d like to reflect my own desires and as the days go by the more that is coming to light for myself.
Still, it never hurts to check inventory and make sure you are going the right path. You want to spend time learning about yourself and where you want to go just as much as what you need to do in order to get there.
It’s during those times where you can make adjustments to your plan and verify that the plan is good for you.
A Proper Health Plan
There are still some glaring issues that I have, however by following through this plan, I am addressing them. I can pinpoint better issues that I have and what steps I can take to ensuring I stay on the right track. As a result of this, I’ve been more aware of the food I’m eating as well as getting outside and of course exercising in general.
Do you have a sort of health plan? I’d love to hear it down below!
To your growth!
