Lately, I’ve been working so much that I’ve been neglecting my workout sessions. In fact, out of this whole week, I hardly spent time outside.
I’m not saying this as a reason to give up or anything. It’s actually a reminder for me that I want to be strong and fit.
One of the biggest self-motivators that we have is our programming, what we actually tell ourselves. I preach it a lot, but even I forget to remind myself that. Sometimes it’s easy to get lost in the motions and slip out of habits that you want to develop.
At least that’s the case for me.
But this post isn’t only for me. It’s for those who doubt themselves or forget to remind themselves this.
You Are Strong And Fit
Affirmations are powerful things and even if they don’t reflect your current reality, it is a reality you are working towards none the less. Reaffirming yourself can drive you and motivate you when you truly believe it.
It’s for this reason why I want to remind myself of this affirmation and want to use it on the regular as well. In order for me to strive further in achieving the ideal body, I need to reaffirm myself.
Of course, from this affirmation, it can be easy to move it into other affirmations as well.
Strong people eat healthily.
Strong and fit people exercise daily.
Fit people feel great.
Even when I may not be strong and fit at the moment I can still take on the feelings and habits that are needed in order to become strong and fit. This is how affirmations work and can help us grow: when we take action.
We Are Strong And Fit
Affirmations improve our confidence when it comes to the habits that we want to improve. It further solidifies our reasons for pursuing what we wish to achieve. Even when we experience setbacks time and again, affirmations can help us get back on our feet and try again.
For me, my life has had many setbacks, especially with my health. But as I continue to press forward I learn more and more about myself and what needs to get done. I know I will overcome this.
For I am strong and fit deep down.
To your growth!
